Chuck’s Journey: Journal Entry #5
Just as I was preparing to have surgery I my grandfather Charles Edward Balch unexpectedly passed away on July 24, 2013. A week later a dear friend Adrene Bunnell unexpectedly passed away. I had two deaths to deal with as I went to have my surgery on September 3, 2013. While in the hospital another friend Brian Mastroni only 28 years old unexpectedly passed away. I was not even able to attend the funeral because I was still in the hospital. Days after I went home from the hospital Adrene Bunnell’s husband, Mike Bunnell unexpectedly passed away. The thoughts of death weighed heavy on my mind. I tried my best to remain positive, but I was battling my own health problems.
